Accounts Payable Specialist

Pay: $25.00 – $27.25 per hour
Job Type: Full‐time

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (A/P) Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring proper coding and approvals
• Maintain A/P records and support timely payment cycles
• Prepare and issue payments via checks, ACH, or other approved methods
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with month‐end closing tasks related to A/P
• Communicate with vendors regarding billing questions, payment status, and account issues
• Support general accounting functions as needed

Administrative & Clerical Responsibilities

• Provide general administrative support to the office and accounting team
• Organize and maintain digital and physical files, records, and documentation
• Assist with data entry and clerical tasks as needed
• Help ensure smooth daily office operations

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable or accounting support preferred
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow‐through
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
• Basic computer skills; experience with accounting software is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
