Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security‑related incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.33 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document relevant details according to site guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution location, including entrances, loading and unloading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points. Monitor activity at gates, docks, and/or trailer areas to help support authorized access and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to site contacts. Assist with observing package handling, vehicle movement, and/or facility activity to help deter unauthorized behavior and support orderly operations. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
