Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status, understanding their unique struggles and strengths.

• Regularly meet with clients for individual and group therapy sessions, providing ongoing support and guidance as they work towards their therapeutic goals.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with confidentiality requirements and professional standards.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and medical doctors, to provide a holistic approach to client care.

• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with trends in mental health treatment and cultural competency.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will encounter a diverse population comprising individuals dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. The counseling methods employed will consider each client’s unique background, cultural dynamics, and personal experiences, ensuring that therapy is not only effective but also respectful and inclusive.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.

• A minimum of four years of related clinical experience, demonstrating proficiency in counseling and therapeutic practices.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, alongside familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and ethical standards in therapy.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust and rapport with clients from various cultural backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
