Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and diagnostic evaluations to understand clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health challenges.

• Create and maintain detailed treatment plans and intervention strategies tailored to the unique needs of individuals, families, and groups.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions that promote coping strategies and personal growth, as well as lead group therapy sessions that foster peer interaction and support.

• Monitor and document client progress throughout their therapeutic journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, primary care providers, and social workers to coordinate care and referrals effectively.

• Engage in regular follow-up communications with healthcare providers concerning clients who may require hospitalization or further intervention.

• Provide guidance and resources to family members and caregivers, equipping them to support their loved ones through mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele at Divine Counseling Services represents a broad spectrum of mental health needs, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and behavioral issues. Counselors will develop an understanding of the unique cultural and community dynamics in Gilbert, Arizona, allowing for culturally competent care and tailored interventions that resonate with our clients' backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited college or university.

• Current and valid licensure in Arizona as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Successful completion of relevant national examinations (NCE, NCMHCE) with a passing score.

• Demonstrable knowledge of psychotherapy techniques and mental health treatment modalities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, forming the basis of effective client interactions and collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in community health settings, preferably with a focus on mental health.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms.

• Experience addressing co-occurring disorders, including substance use issues alongside mental health conditions.

• A thorough understanding of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.

• Knowledge of pharmacological treatments prescribed by medical professionals, particularly their implications for therapeutic practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The offered salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
