Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Spring Leaf Rehabilitation Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating patients referred by physicians and developing comprehensive treatment programs tailored to their individual needs.
• Implementing evidence-based therapy techniques across various specialties, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurologic care, and sports medicine.
• Providing skilled therapeutic care that aligns with the physician's plan, aimed at enabling patients to achieve measurable improvements in their functional abilities.
• Educating patients and their caregivers about treatment processes and techniques to ensure effective home practice and support.
• Maintaining excellent communication and customer service standards, contributing to the overall success and effectiveness of our therapy team.
• Meeting established utilization goals and actively participating in performance evaluations to enhance both clinical and business outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily focus on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions, as well as pediatric patients with developmental needs and athletes seeking rehabilitation from sports-related injuries. You will engage with diverse patient demographics, employing customized approaches to motivate and support each individual based on their unique rehabilitation journey. Additionally, you will build rapport that encourages patient adherence to therapeutic protocols, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills.
• A strong commitment to building lasting relationships with patients and collaborating with the community.

Preferred Experience

Experience in home health settings or similar environments is highly desirable, especially for candidates who have conducted comprehensive evaluations or developed rehabilitation plans for orthopedic and neurologic patients. Demonstrated success in achieving positive patient outcomes through skilled physical therapy practices will give candidates an advantage. A history of engaging with patients in community-based settings is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
