Work Environment

The role of the Physician Assistant will be performed onsite at our state-of-the-art Surgical Center. This facility is equipped with advanced medical technology and resources necessary for performing a range of interventional procedures. Working in a full-time capacity, you can expect a typical schedule from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of additional evening or weekend shifts as required to best serve our patients. Flexibility in scheduling is encouraged to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including comprehensive pain assessments, to ascertain the causes of patients' pain, considering the interplay of physical, psychological, and social factors.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that may incorporate medical, pharmacological, interventional, and holistic methods aimed at effective pain management.
• Provide ongoing care to patients experiencing chronic pain conditions, focusing on enhancing their functionality, reducing pain intensity, and improving their overall quality of life.
• Treat acute pain stemming from injuries, surgeries, or medical procedures, utilizing evidence-based techniques to alleviate discomfort and facilitate healing.
• Prescribe and oversee appropriate treatment regimens, including pain-relief medications, always weighing potential risks, benefits, and preferences of the patient.
• Perform interventional procedures, such as nerve blocks and epidural injections, to manage complex pain scenarios effectively.
• Educate patients on pain management strategies and self-care techniques, empowering them to actively participate in their health and recovery.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate electronic health records (EHR), documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, medical histories, and follow-up recommendations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant will primarily serve a diverse patient population, encompassing individuals suffering from acute and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
