Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical needs and establish clear treatment goals tailored to each individual.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated, personalized attention to each treatment session.
• Implement evidence-based intervention strategies that encompass treatment, rehabilitation, and preventative measures for musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop and adapt comprehensive care plans that integrate various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment programs to optimize functional outcomes and instill confidence in their rehabilitation journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as orthopedic surgeons and occupational therapists, to design cohesive care strategies for improved patient outcomes.
• Document all patient interactions, progress, and treatment adjustments thoroughly to ensure clear communication within the healthcare team.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in orthopedic therapy practice and continuously seek professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Lifepoint, you will interact with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting movement and mobility. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their functionality and independence by designing specialized rehabilitation programs suited to their specific diagnoses.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Evidence of a clean and untarnished professional record, with no disciplinary actions or board sanctions against your license.
• Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to devise effective exercise protocols for diverse patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure accurate documentation and patient care management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, demonstrating a strong foundation in evaluating and treating musculoskeletal conditions.
• Knowledge of contemporary rehabilitation technologies and therapeutic modalities will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
