Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to identify their unique mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to manage mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma responses, and substance use disorders.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage client interaction, support, and the sharing of coping strategies among peers facing similar challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, regularly monitoring client progress and adjusting goals as necessary to ensure effectiveness.

• Offer crisis intervention services, providing immediate support to clients in distress and conducting risk assessments to determine safety and necessity for further intervention.

• Engage in ongoing education and professional development activities, staying abreast of the latest research, methods, and trends in mental health treatment.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse range of clients, each facing various mental health challenges. This includes individuals from different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds who are coping with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and adjustment disorders. Compensation and Benefits\n
