Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments, employing evidence-based practices to gather detailed patient histories and evaluate health conditions.
• Utilize your expertise to provide specialized women's health services, including IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, Colposcopies, Endometrial Biopsies, and Pessary fittings.
• Collaborate effectively with supervising physicians and fellow clinicians for complex case discussions, contributing to a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Advocate for the needs of patients and their families by considering factors such as physiology, psychosocial dynamics, cultural contexts, and cognitive conditions.
• Coordinate patient care through effective communication with the healthcare team, maintaining accurate medical records and implementing care plans.
• Review and manage diagnostic studies according to established protocols, ensuring timely follow-ups and assessments for the best patient outcomes.
• Employ technological tools to document patient information, track clinical data, and facilitate communication with the healthcare team.
• Maintain a high standard of care by adhering to safety principles, legal guidelines, and patient confidentiality protocols.
• Demonstrate an ability to remain calm and prioritize tasks effectively in emergency situations, ensuring the welfare of all patients.
• Provide exceptional customer service, fostering positive patient experiences through empathetic interactions and professional conduct.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner will primarily serve female patients ranging from adolescents to seniors, addressing a wide variety of health concerns. Our patient population values comprehensive women's health services, including reproductive health, preventive screenings, and chronic disease management. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and support patients through every stage of their lives, contributing to their ongoing wellness and health education.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (APN) in the state of Florida, with necessary certifications such as CDS and DEA.
• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field; preference is given to candidates with master’s degrees or additional qualifications in Women’s Health.
• Demonstrable experience (minimum 1 year) working specifically within women's health practices.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience is required, candidates with two or more years of specialized experience in women's health or related fields are preferred. Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare programs is advantageous, ensuring optimal patient care and compliance with regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $220,000, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, our benefits package includes:
