Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), your day-to-day tasks will focus on various therapeutic interventions aimed at facilitating positive client outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead therapeutic group sessions that encourage open dialogue among clients, helping them to share personal experiences and build supportive relationships within the group.

• Individual Counseling: Provide one-on-one therapy to clients experiencing mental health difficulties, ensuring personalized approaches that explore their unique thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and needs, incorporating evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are enrolled in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). This demographic often faces significant mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and transitional life issues. You will play a critical role in providing empathetic and effective support to help them navigate these obstacles and build a foundation for a healthier future.

Qualifications\n

• Licensure: Must hold a valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in California.

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is required.

• At least one year of direct experience in mental health treatment, preferably working with young adults in either residential or outpatient settings.
