Work Environment

You will be working onsite in our rehabilitation center located in Bayonne, NJ, an area known for its accessibility and welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, establishing individualized treatment plans that cater to their specific needs and rehabilitative goals.
• Administer skilled therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and various treatment modalities, ensuring a holistic approach to rehabilitation.
• Regularly monitor and document patients' responses to therapy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans in order to optimize recovery and enhance rehabilitation success.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with a range of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to create comprehensive care pathways for our patients.
• Educate patients and their families on effective therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and preventative measures to minimize the risk of injury.
• Develop and implement fall prevention strategies to ensure safety within assisted living environments, addressing key risks encountered by our geriatric patients.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest physical therapy advancements by engaging in continuing education and applying evidence-based techniques in treatment.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
