Key Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities to tailor personalized treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
• Delivering skilled therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various modalities to enhance recovery.
• Regularly monitoring and documenting patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, such as physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to coordinate holistic care.
• Educating patients and their families about therapeutic interventions, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies to promote long-term health.
• Implementing safety measures and fall prevention programs tailored to the assisted living environment to mitigate risks for our elderly population.
• Staying informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy through continuing education and professional development initiatives.
• Maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality while ensuring that each patient receives the utmost respect and care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on our geriatric clientele, many of whom may face age-related challenges such as mobility issues, chronic pain, and recovery from surgery. The role requires patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients, encouraging their participation and commitment to the rehabilitation process. Facilitating their independence and fostering a recovery environment are key aspects of your role.

Qualifications

• A graduate of an accredited institution in Physical Therapy with a Bachelor's degree and an active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrated understanding of geriatric therapy principles; experience in this field is preferable, although new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and fellow healthcare providers.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and proficient documentation skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and the ability to integrate the latest therapeutic techniques to enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
