Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Manchester Township rehabilitation facility, which is well-equipped with the latest technology and therapeutic tools necessary for effective rehabilitation. You will be part of a cohesive team consisting of one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) and two skilled Physical Therapists, all collaborating to provide optimal outcomes for our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the specific needs and goals of each patient, ensuring to incorporate various therapeutic techniques.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments during patient evaluations to formulate effective interventions aimed at enhancing mobility and functional independence.
• Manage a manageable caseload, typically involving one patient per hour, ensuring focused and personalized attention during each session.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to execute treatment methods and adjust plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Monitor patient progress, document treatment sessions thoroughly, and communicate any notable changes with the healthcare team to maintain continuity of care.
• Provide guidance and motivation to patients throughout their recovery journey, ensuring they remain engaged and informed about their treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to coordinate comprehensive care and educational programs for patients.
• Encourage a holistic approach to health by discussing lifestyle modifications that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and overall well-being.
• Utilize EMR software, specifically WebPT, to maintain accurate records and improve operational efficiencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population consists of individuals dealing with orthopedic conditions, post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. You will collaborate closely with patients from diverse backgrounds and various age groups, tailoring your approach to meet their unique rehabilitation needs and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no prior disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong understanding of manual therapy techniques and the ability to implement exercise protocols competently.
• Competence in utilizing electronic medical records systems, with a focus on WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly valued.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing treatment regimens tailored to individual patient goals.
• Experience in utilizing advanced rehabilitation equipment and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
