Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized tools and clinical judgment.

• Collaborate with clients in developing personalized treatment plans that meet their unique needs, preferences, and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective interventions for mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment pathways, and evidence-supported self-care practices.

• Monitor clients’ progress continuously, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on observed outcomes and client feedback.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, ensuring all aspects of their well-being are addressed.

• Stay informed on advancements in the field of mental health, particularly regarding mood disorders, to enhance treatment strategies and interventions.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress, adhering to professional and ethical standards.

You will be primarily working with a diverse clientele experiencing various mood disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure in the state of Florida as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT is mandatory.

• Two years of professional experience post-licensure with a focus on mood disorders is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in delivering evidence-based modalities for mood disorders, including CBT and DBT, is necessary.

• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology to support collaborative efforts with psychiatrists and medical professionals is important.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to foster rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

While two years of experience is required, candidates with a demonstrated record of successful outcome-based treatments specifically related to mood disorders will be viewed favorably. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, paired with a sign-on bonus.
