Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapy strategies designed to meet each client’s unique needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, addressing a range of mental health issues from anxiety and depression to trauma and relational concerns.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to effectively address client concerns and improve mental health outcomes.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the confidentiality and safety of client information.

• Engage in regular consultations with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans, integrating input from various specialties to enhance client support.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops and training sessions to remain informed about the latest advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor will be dedicated to working with a wide range of clients, including children, adults, and families who face challenges such as emotional distress, behavioral issues, and mental health disorders. Many of our clients come from underserved communities who may be experiencing barriers to care, making the role particularly impactful in helping to bridge the gap in mental health services.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience is necessary to ensure the expertise needed for effective client care.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing the practice of counseling.

• Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.

• The annual salary for the position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
