This position is fully remote, offering unparalleled flexibility and the opportunity to work in a telehealth setting. Our therapists work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gather insights into patients' unique experiences, enabling the creation of tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and strategies to support patients' mental health, considering their cultural backgrounds.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to address various mental health concerns and foster resilience among clients.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to create a coordinated care approach that addresses patients' needs holistically.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and immediate support.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available to assist their wellbeing.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in alignment with legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system effectively.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case conferences to enhance collaborative practices and continually improve cultural competence.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as a LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, particularly concerning cultural diversity in therapy.

• Demonstrated experience conducting individual and group therapy sessions with an emphasis on inclusivity and cultural responsiveness.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure and effectiveness during challenging situations.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates with advanced training or specialization in areas such as trauma-informed care, family therapy, or LGBTQ+ issues are particularly encouraged to apply. Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise.
