Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity and frequency of their mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized assessment tools.

• Design personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique situation, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively manage and treat client symptoms.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, discussing treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care techniques that promote recovery and resilience.

• Regularly monitor client progress, documenting advancements and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and medical specialists, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to clients.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders and therapeutic practices to enhance treatment methodologies and client care.

• Maintain thorough and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will also provide support to vulnerable populations, including those affected by homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, ensuring equitable access to mental health care. Qualifications\n

• A valid and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
