Accounts Payable Specialist
International logistics company is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team.
Main Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process invoices accurately.
- Perform bank account reconciliations and account analysis.
- Prepare balance and financial reports for management.
- Handle check deposits and payment control.
- Process vendor payments and maintain vendor accounts.
- Record payroll accruals and related reports.
- Support accounting closing processes and billing activities.
- Maintain organized accounting and administrative files.
- Review statements and invoices.
- Create and manage purchase orders (warehouses, agencies, administrative supplies).
- Assist with inventory control.
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting operations.
- Use Microsoft Word and Excel efficiently.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and accounts payable.
- Experience with accounting software programs.
- Strong QuickBooks experience is required.
- Knowledge of U.S. banking processes.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Valid work authorization required.
Working Conditions
- Full-time position (40 hours per week)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Pay: $19.00 per hour
- Biweekly payroll through payroll company with direct deposit
