Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one therapeutic sessions on a weekly basis with all assigned clients, focusing on their specific mental health needs and treatment goals.

• Facilitate group counseling sessions that promote peer support, education, and community building among clients.
\n
• Develop and execute individualized treatment and discharge plans for clients, ensuring they are comprehensive and align with best practices.
\n
• Coordinate necessary treatment services and communicate regularly with clients’ family members and referral sources to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, contributing your insights and experiences to enhance our treatment programs.
\n
• Attend and actively participate in in-service training sessions, supervision meetings, and clinical team discussions to enrich your professional development.
\n
• Maintain accurate and thorough client records that meet all licensing standards, ensuring clarity and compliance in documentation.
\n
• Oversee the clinical documentation process, managing quality assurance practices to rectify any deficiencies.
\n
• Advise clients in developing strategies for overcoming barriers they face in their treatment plan, assisting them in achieving their therapeutic objectives.

• Collaborate with Primary Therapists on treatment planning updates, ensuring inclusivity of all treatment modalities utilized in care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse population of clients at various stages of their mental health journeys. While experience working with geriatric clients is preferred, it is not required. You will navigate a wide range of challenges and backgrounds, allowing you to broaden your expertise and impact. Our clinic serves a community that often experiences barriers to mental health care, and your role will be critical in bridging those gaps.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Clinical Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid state license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or similar) is required; please note that associates’ license holders cannot be considered for this role as they are not billable through Medicare.

• Proficient with computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, to effectively manage schedules and documentation.
\n
• A proven ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with geriatric populations is preferred, but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and treatment planning techniques.
