Work Environment\n

As a remote position, this role grants you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while meeting the needs of our clients through telehealth services. You will conduct sessions from your own home using a HIPAA-compliant platform that guarantees client confidentiality and data security. Our team supports you with a cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) system to streamline documentation and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including those required for Medicaid and Medicare.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling to address a range of mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will serve a diverse client base, including individuals facing mental health challenges, trauma, and dual diagnosis. You will play a crucial role in empowering clients to identify their issues and work towards sustainable solutions in a safe, confidential environment.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
\n
• A minimum of three years of experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting.
\n
• Proficiency in using technology for virtual counseling, including a reliable laptop or desktop, internet connection, and web camera.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating professionalism and accountability at all times.

• Completion of a comprehensive background check prior to employment.
\n
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate client schedules.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with additional certifications or specialized training in trauma-informed care, grief counseling, or substance use disorders will be given preference. Experience with children and adolescents is also a plus.
