Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments to gauge the individual needs of clients and design tailored treatment plans aimed at overcoming mental health and relationship issues.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care, to provide effective therapeutic interventions.

• Lead individual and family therapy sessions, using active listening and analytical skills to facilitate productive discussions and therapeutic outcomes.

• Manage crisis situations utilizing de-escalation skills to provide immediate support for clients experiencing acute distress.

• Maintain meticulous records of client progress and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular supervision and professional development to stay informed about current best practices in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on families, individuals, and children coping with various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, addiction, interpersonal relationships, grief-related issues, and behavioral concerns. Recognizing the unique needs of each client, you will empower them toward healing and self-discovery, encouraging open communication and collaboration within the therapy process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Active LMFT license issued by the State of California.
\n
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in a clinical setting, providing direct therapy services.

• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with clients from varying backgrounds.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively articulate treatment plans and therapeutic progress.

• Knowledge of ethical standards and legal requirements surrounding mental health therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and families.

• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms for conducting therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
