Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER) in Sonora, California. Start date 09/21/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment at a short-term acute care hospital. Weekly pay ranges from $1,925 to $2,053 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12 Nights, typically 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with occasional 3:00 PM–3:30 AM shifts. This assignment places you in an acute care setting with a busy ER workflow requiring clinical expertise, teamwork, and sound clinical judgment.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for ER patients using the nursing process and evidence-based practice
- Triage, assess, monitor, and respond to patient needs; administer medications and IV therapy as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other disciplines to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately; educate patients and families
- Monitor patient safety, infection prevention, and respond to acute changes in condition; participate in code or rapid response as needed
- Prioritize patient flow and throughput in a high-volume, fast-paced ER environment

Requirements
- Licenses/ Certifications: Current California RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) from an approved vendor; ACLS and PALS certifications (AHA- or ARC-accepted)
- Education: BSN preferred; active RN licensure in the state of practice
- Experience: At least two years of recent ER or acute care experience
- Other: Ability to work in a high-acuity ER setting and adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols
