Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about supporting K-12 students’ communication growth will find a rewarding opportunity in this contract-based SLP position. Four full-time roles are available for the upcoming school year, serving a diverse student population. This position is fully onsite and ideal for SLPs eager to work collaboratively within the school setting.

Key Dates & Details:

• New hire orientation scheduled from August 12 to August 14
• 2026–2027 school year (exact dates to be confirmed)
• 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Caseloads and specific grade assignments will be determined prior to placement
• Both experienced SLPs and strong Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply

Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license (active status required)
• Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois (must provide screenshot upon application)
• Ability to verify licensure and PEL using official state lookup tools
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is advantageous, but new graduates with strong clinical skills will be considered

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students in K-12
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
• Maintain accurate records and document progress per school and legal requirements
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
