Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough client intakes, assessing their mental health needs and developing individualized treatment plans.

• Provide both individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Create and maintain a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic therapeutic environment during virtual sessions.

• Track and review client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure effective care.

• Collaborate with fellow clinicians and other team members to enhance the quality of services provided by the VIEW program.

• Participate actively in team meetings, offering insights and contributing to the continuous improvement of our programs and client care services.

• Assist in the development and implementation of recovery-oriented initiatives aimed at supporting client wellness goals.

• Utilize technology platforms to document sessions and maintain up-to-date client records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse population of clients, including adults, adolescents, and families facing a myriad of mental health challenges. You will provide support to individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues, among others. Your ability to build trust and rapport with clients will be crucial to facilitating their journey toward recovery and wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current licensure through the Washington State Department of Health as an LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT.

• A minimum of 3 years of counseling experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in clinical practices.

• Strong communication and active listening skills, essential for effective counseling.

• Empathetic approach with a commitment to building trust and understanding with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While the above qualifications are essential, candidates with experience in group therapy settings, trauma-informed care practices, or additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities will be given preference. Familiarity with telehealth best practices will also be advantageous.
