This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your own home while providing essential support. Although primarily remote, the LCSW will occasionally coordinate visits to clients in person when necessary, ensuring that care is tailored to individual circumstances. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for clients in the detox center, preparing detailed reports that highlight emotional, mental, and social factors impacting their recovery.

• Collaborate closely with clients and their families to create customized care plans that align with their recovery goals and personal circumstances.

• Provide both individual and group counseling sessions, guiding clients through their recovery process while offering emotional support during life transitions.

• Advocate for clients' rights, helping them access necessary community resources and support services, ensuring they feel empowered and informed.

• Engage with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, addiction specialists, and nurses, to deliver cohesive and comprehensive care to clients.

• Conduct regular follow-up calls or virtual visits to monitor clients' progress, ensuring adherence to the care plan and addressing any emerging needs.

• Educate clients about addiction and recovery resources, including support groups and counseling services that can facilitate their journey.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and progress accurately in our electronic health records (EHR) system.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.

• At least two years of relevant experience in a social work role, preferably in settings focused on addiction recovery or geriatric care.

• Strong understanding of the social work principles applicable to addiction, aging challenges, and available community resources.
