Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct clinical evaluations to assess patients' mental health concerns, history, and needs for targeted interventions.

• Lead and facilitate psychoeducational and process-oriented therapy groups, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for discussion.

• Complete discharge sessions to equip patients with coping strategies, a well-defined transition plan, and community resources.

• Maintain continuous communication with referral sources and outpatient providers to ensure seamless continuity of care throughout the treatment process.

• Proactively participate in clinical outreach initiatives and program tours, representing our services positively in the community.

• Effectively manage and de-escalate crises during sessions or within the therapeutic milieu, ensuring patient safety is maintained.

• Support milieu staff during their interactions with patients and families, fostering a collaborative and nurturing environment.
\n
• Assess patients for risk factors, including suicidality and potential harm to themselves or others, to guide appropriate interventions.
\n
• Engage in timely documentation practices, including maintaining accurate clinical records and correspondence with the Utilization Review Department for services authorization.
\n
• Begin discharge planning upon patient admission to ensure a comprehensive approach to post-discharge support.
