This full-time position allows you to deliver critical mental health services in a remote setting, providing much-needed support to individuals faced with major mental health challenges. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Sonder Steps Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychological assessments and screenings to determine the mental health needs and aspirations of clients.

• Creating and implementing individualized and integrated care plans that encapsulate the client’s goals, ensuring that all services are coordinated efficiently.

• Providing crisis intervention and support as needed to clients experiencing severe emotional distress.

• Facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions aimed at addressing a variety of mental health disorders.

• Engaging with clients in their homes and the community to deliver tailored support, education, and resources.

• Monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary, and ensuring compliance with treatment plans.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in alignment with agency standards.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external organizations to secure additional resources and services for clients.

• Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated with best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse population, including individuals who are low-income and may face significant barriers to receiving mental health services. The client demographic often includes individuals with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disturbances, requiring not only clinical expertise but also empathy and cultural competence in addressing their unique needs and backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Active LCSW license in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with a focus on mental health.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 70,000 – 85,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications.
