The Transformative Trauma Counseling Center is actively seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will provide remote counseling services to clients primarily through telehealth platforms. Work Environment

This role offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to provide counseling from the comfort of your own space while ensuring client confidentiality and professional ethics. Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no requirements for evening or weekend sessions, thereby promoting a healthy work-life balance. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly, providing you with the necessary tools to engage effectively with clients in the digital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, building rapport and maintaining professional boundaries while providing support and guidance.
• Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand clients' histories, presenting issues, and overall mental health status.
• Develop, implement, and monitor customized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique needs and therapeutic goals.
• Facilitate regular individual therapy sessions, helping clients process their experiences and challenging negative thought patterns.
• Document client progress meticulously, maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in individual supervision sessions, engaging in continuous professional development and seeking feedback to enhance your practice.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care and share insights about clients’ progress.
• Stay informed about the latest research, techniques, and therapies relevant to mental health and trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Transformative Trauma Counseling Center, you will work with a varied client demographic, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique stories and therapeutic needs, allowing you to apply an array of counseling techniques to facilitate their healing and growth.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• A current and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license is essential for this position.
• At least one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting following graduation is mandatory.
• Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and active listening skills are integral to effectively understanding and assisting clients.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using telehealth platforms for delivering therapy could be advantageous.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities and trauma-informed care practices.
• Ability to navigate and address a diverse range of mental health issues.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our fee-for-service model ensures guaranteed rates, allowing you to be compensated promptly without the waiting period for reimbursements.
