Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while connecting with clients through a user-friendly telehealth platform. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work in an outpatient office setting for in-person sessions, which fosters a collaborative atmosphere among team members. Our practice operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify the individual needs of clients and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address the unique challenges faced by clients.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing an integrative approach that considers diverse cultural backgrounds and individual experiences.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

• Respond to crisis situations and offer immediate support to clients dealing with mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and wellness.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health resources, treatment modalities, and coping strategies to foster understanding and support.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance your skills and knowledge in the field.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• Proficiency in mental health diagnoses, treatment methodologies, and culturally informed therapy practices.

• Demonstrable experience in providing both individual and group therapy with a focus on cultural responsiveness.

• Strong crisis intervention abilities, remaining calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trusting relationships with a diverse array of clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other applicable technology.
\n
• A steadfast commitment to ethical practices, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical setting, providing mental health counseling services.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
