Project Executive - Data Center Construction

The Project Executive is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and successful delivery of large-scale construction projects from pre-construction through close-out. The role serves as the primary point of contact for clients, oversees project performance, ensures financial success, supports business development efforts, and provides leadership and mentorship to project teams. Key Responsibilities Provide overall management and strategic oversight of large, complex construction projects Lead project teams to ensure successful project execution from development through close-out Monitor project performance, schedules, budgets, quality, and risk management Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to client expectations Client & Stakeholder Management Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, community stakeholders, and project partners Conduct key customer service meetings and site visits throughout the project lifecycle Serve as the primary client contact for assigned projects Address client concerns proactively and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction Business Development Support business development initiatives and contribute to winning new work Participate in Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and proposal reviews Assist in identifying and pursuing future opportunities with existing and prospective clients Maintain and strengthen long-term customer relationships Oversee contract administration, including contract terms, change orders, claims, and invoicing Monitor project budgets, cost controls, forecasting, and pricing strategies Ensure profitable project delivery through effective financial management Review and approve key commercial decisions affecting project outcomes Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to project managers and project teams Conduct performance management and support professional development activities Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within teams Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance working environment Compliance & Governance Ensure compliance with organisational policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations Promote equal employment opportunity, diversity, equity, and inclusion principles Promote ethical business practices and professional standards across projects Person Specification Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in: Construction Engineerin Civil Engineering Architectural Engineering Construction Management or a related field Alternatively, equivalent industry experience may be considered Minimum 10 years' experience in construction management Proven track record managing projects from development and pre-construction through completion and close-out Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams Strong understanding of construction project delivery processes Basic knowledge of construction law and commercial contracting practice Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reportin Understanding of equality, diversity, inclusion, and employment legislation Exceptional leadership and people management skills Strong customer relationship and stakeholder management abilities Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities High attention to detail and organisational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software Personal Attributes Professional and customer-focused approach Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environments Resourceful, proactive, and results-orientents Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgments Positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork and collaborations Additional Requirements Valid driver's licence Legal authorisation to work in the relevant jurisdiction without sponsorship Ability and willingness to travel Medical, vision, prescription, and dental coverage Retirement savings plan with employer contributions Paid annual leave and public holidays Life and disability insurance Employee wellbeing and mental health support resources #J-18808-Ljbffr
