Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health, strengths, and areas for improvement. Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with state regulations.

• Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient's unique needs, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.

• Provide one-on-one counseling, as well as family therapy sessions, to strengthen support networks and address interpersonal dynamics.

• Assist clients in accessing vocational rehabilitation services, experiential learning opportunities, and tailored coaching to foster personal growth.

• Offer crisis intervention when necessary, documenting all incidents and strategies utilized to support patient safety and progress.

• Maintain open lines of communication with clients and their families, providing over-the-phone support as needed to navigate challenges during recovery.

• Participate in regular case consultations with team members to discuss patient progress, identify areas for intervention, and implement feedback into practice.

• Stay current with state licensing requirements, ensuring compliance with all professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults undergoing detoxification and individuals facing substance use challenges. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and often have co-occurring mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A current California Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
