Our mission is to provide exceptional homecare services to patients who need our help the most.We are seeking talented, passionate individuals to join our team as Intake Coordinators and help our patients live happier and healthier lives.What We Offer:Make a difference every day in the lives of those who need our help the mostCompetitive payPaid on a weekly basisMedical/dental/vision/life insurancePaid holidays/PTO/401(k) matchCareer growth opportunitiesGreat and collaborative work environmentWork-life balanceResponsibilitiesEnsure all intake data for admissions requests are collected, completed, and communicated according to the established standard operating procedures and in compliance with all regulatory requirementsObtain all necessary information (e.g., demographic, financial, clinical, and other pertinent data) through contact and/or interview with referral agency, patient, and/or patient representativeVerify patient insurance through payer websites, phone calls and any other means availablePerform clerical work (e.g., document management)Prepare and maintain patient charts as per non-clinical functionsUtilize appropriate systems to track all incoming new patients and the status of their paperwork and benefits informationMaintain and update EMR platforms appropriately and in a timely mannerCoordinate the facilities, hospitals, and other referral sources to ensure accurate and timely information is received and the patient is promptly scheduled with an appropriate providerMaintain geographic scheduling for assigned practice/providersPromote efficiency of admission process by answering phones and reporting issues to supervisor as neededTrack all referrals in the computer system and compile statistics monthly and/or as requestedRepresent department and organization in a professional and positive mannerParticipate in scheduled department meetingsMay perform other duties as needed and/or assignedQualificationsEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent, Associate's degree preferredActive state RN or LPN licenseTwo years or more of experience in similar role preferredPossess extensive knowledge of all types of insurances such as Medicare, Medicaid, PPO, HMO, and Advantage plansSkills and Abilities:Excellent communication and customer service skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsProficiency with Office 365 suiteEligibility for certain benefits may depend on employment statusCareRing Health, LLC is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other classification protected by applicable law.
