Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments of clients' mental health, emotional well-being, and relationship dynamics to identify treatment goals.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapies aligned with the individual needs of clients.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, focusing on a range of mental health concerns—including anxiety, depression, and trauma—and guide clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

• Lead couples therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and strengthening relationship bonds.
\n
• Continuously review and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and evolving needs, conducting regular follow-ups to assess effectiveness.

• Maintain thorough and accurate client records, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary collaborations, working closely with healthcare professionals to orchestrate comprehensive client care.

• Provide crisis intervention support to clients experiencing acute distress, utilizing appropriate techniques to de-escalate situations.

• Stay updated with the latest trends, research, and best practices in marriage and family therapy through ongoing professional development.

• Advocate for clients, encouraging informed decision-making about their treatment while prioritizing confidentiality and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will have the unique opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, including teenagers, adults, and couples facing a variety of challenges. Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Illinois is mandatory.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and/or couples therapy, with a focus on building therapeutic relationships.

• Proficient in writing clear and concise assessments, treatment notes, and client updates.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with an ability to navigate electronic health record systems efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients across the lifespan, including both children and adults.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or similar approaches.

• History of timely completion of documentation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Compensation and Benefits\n
