Work Environment

This position is onsite, primarily within the home care setting, enabling you to directly engage with patients in their own environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to establish their treatment goals and needs.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate a variety of techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to enhance recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based practice to promote effective therapies aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain.
• Monitor patients' progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as necessary to ensure maximum effectiveness.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise regimens, self-care techniques, and the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle for long-term health.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and collaborate on best practices among peers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Your expertise will guide patients through their rehabilitation, helping them regain strength and functionality. Your role is vital in not just treating the injuries but also in educating patients about injury prevention and maintaining overall physical health, thereby empowering them to lead an active lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate or Master's degree is preferred.
• An active state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required, ensuring compliance with Florida's healthcare regulations.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in physical therapy, with a focus on orthopedic conditions and treatments.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
