Serving multiple locations near Detroit, you’ll make a difference for a manageable caseload of 30-40 students, providing vital OT services and helping young learners thrive. This role offers steady hours at 32.5 per week, beginning ASAP and extending through mid-June, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
• Valid Michigan licensure as an occupational therapist
• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Effective communicator and advocate for student needs
• COTA supervision is not available for this position

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct OT intervention and evaluations for students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Maintain detailed therapy records and progress reports in compliance with school and legal requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on educational accommodations
• Consult with teachers and staff to support student participation in academic and daily activities
• Educate families on therapeutic strategies that can be reinforced at home
