Key Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist at Desert Physical Therapy, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive pediatric screenings and evaluations to accurately diagnose physical therapy needs.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations, ensuring that goals and objectives are tailored to each child's unique requirements.
• Delivering evidence-based physical therapy interventions utilizing appropriate modalities and therapeutic exercises to promote optimal recovery.
• Educating and training patients and their caregivers on therapy techniques and ongoing management strategies to facilitate their child's progress.
• Maintaining thorough and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards, ensuring compliance with all health care regulations.
• Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to address comprehensive patient needs and fostering relationships with families to encourage patient motivation and compliance.
• Monitoring patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment as required.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

• A current State Physical Therapist license in Florida.
• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• A solid clinical background with experience in pediatric therapy settings.
• Proficient physical assessment skills, including carrying, lifting, manual dexterity, and physical stamina.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to foster strong relationships with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits
