Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our esteemed rehabilitation center in Tallahassee, Florida. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to establish baseline functional levels and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies that cater to individual patient needs, ensuring measurable improvement in physical function.
• Utilize modalities and therapeutic techniques effectively to facilitate patient rehabilitation, whether in-clinic or through home health visits, as necessary.
• Provide thorough education and training to patients and their caregivers on treatment plans, exercises, and recovery strategies to promote independence.
• Monitor progress against predefined goals, adjusting treatment plans as needed to maximize recovery outcomes.
• Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines, ensuring accuracy in patient records and treatment logs.
• Foster exceptional customer service experiences by actively listening to patient concerns and providing emotional support throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals within the interdisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care and optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid license to practice physical therapy in the state of Florida.

• Basic Life Support Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with proficiency in word processing and electronic medical records systems.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
