Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' conditions through thorough examinations to determine their physical therapy needs in a home care environment.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including therapeutic exercises, hands-on techniques, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Continuously monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed to meet or redefine therapeutic goals.
• Document all treatment sessions and patient responses meticulously to maintain accurate records and facilitate ongoing communications with the healthcare team.
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitative techniques, treatments, and the use of assistive devices where required.
• Enhance your professional knowledge and skills by participating in continuing education workshops, engaging with professional publications, and joining relevant professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on pediatrics, specifically working with children facing various rehabilitative challenges due to injuries, congenital conditions, or surgeries. You will help develop functional independence and enhance the quality of life for our young patients, building strong relationships with them and their families throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; familiarity with word processing and computer applications is a plus.
• A flexible and agile mindset to adapt to varying patient needs and treatment scenarios.

Preferred Experience

• While prior experience is not required, new graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive mentorship to build their confidence and skill set in the field.
• Experience with pediatric patients is advantageous, but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
