Experienced Full-Time Physical Therapist for Home Care at Flexi Flow Rehab

Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, offering the unique setting of home care therapy, where you will work closely with patients in their own environments. You will collaborate with a team comprised of two fellow physical therapists and one Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to create a supportive atmosphere focused on holistic patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the specific needs and rehabilitation goals of each patient, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, seeing 2-3 patients per hour, while providing high-quality care and attention to detail.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans using a diverse range of therapeutic modalities.
• Educate patients on non-surgical options and promote a reduction in the reliance on prescription medications.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their treatment, focusing on maintaining an active lifestyle and achieving their personal health goals.
• Utilize your expertise in manual therapy and collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Record and track patient progress using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Analyze treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient progress.
• Maintain detailed documentation of services provided for compliance and quality assurance.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient care, treatment effectiveness, and best practices within the rehabilitation field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will serve primarily include individuals restricted by orthopedic conditions. Many of our clients are post-operative and in need of rehabilitation to restore mobility and strength. We focus on delivering personalized care that addresses each patient's unique challenges and requirements, fostering an environment where they feel supported and motivated to succeed.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Current and active physical therapist license in the State of Florida, with no disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and application.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to efficiently document patient interactions and progress.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging and customizable wellness programs for diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits

Flexi Flow Rehab offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
