Engagement Delivery Leader

Role Description

Salesforce Professional Services is seeking innovative Engagement Delivery Leaders who share our vision of bringing the power of cloud computing to enterprises. Engagement Delivery Leads are driving successful customer outcomes with our implementations and lead and run complex, enterprise and strategic programs. This involves:

• Guiding our highly skilled and collaborative programs teams, both non-technical and technical consultants.
• Managing relationships, deliverables, and outcomes.
• Actively participating in the program, managing customer relationships, delivery methodology, scoping, contracts review, knowledge transfer, and financials.

Your Impact includes:

• Serving as the overall Leader of the program team and exhibiting excellent leadership skills.
• Being the primary customer interface and performing program management activities.
• Building and leading project plans; supervising and reviewing project progress and timelines.
• Supervising utilization of project resources in alignment with resource allocation and budget.
• Leading multiple projects supporting a program or account.
• Facilitating requirements gathering and assisting with crafting project deliverables.
• Participating in end-to-end implementation planning.
• Facilitating User Acceptance Testing with business end users.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project and program management, focused on delivering for external clients in a consulting environment.
• 7+ years managing Salesforce engagements strongly preferred.
• 5+ years experience supporting the Public Sector vertical in Professional Services, preferred.
• Ability to balance the business and technical requirements to produce a project plan.
• Demonstrated project management skills, with direct responsibility for running project teams, up to 75+ people.
• Demonstrated ability to have difficult conversations.
• Proven history of delivering high quality results on schedule and within budget.
• Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high energy, team-oriented environment.
• Available to travel regionally and occasionally internationally depending on customer needs.
• Experience in managing large-scale transformation engagements with US Federal clients.
• Ability to rapidly build senior-level credibility with the Customer.
• Ability to lead large and/or enterprise-wide engagements.
• Salesforce.com Certifications (Admin, Service, Experience, etc.) strongly preferred.
• Salesforce Agentblazer Innovator preferred.

Requirements

• Program Health Reporting: Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Value Realization Reporting: Support creation of the business case/ROI aligned with required data-driven metrics.
• Location Preferences: Southern California OR the Northeast United States.
• Qualification for this job is contingent upon acceptable results from a background investigation.
