BENEFITS & LICENSING COORDINATOR
Our speech pathology practice, with several locations throughout Long Island, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Human Resources team. This position is based in Stony Brook and is an in-person position, 30+ hours per week .
The Benefits & Licensing Coordinator will primarily oversee employee benefits and professional licensing, while also assisting with general HR administrative responsibilities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing employee benefits, including medical, dental, and vision
- Assisting employees with benefits questions, enrollment, changes, and qualifying life events
- Maintaining and tracking professional licenses, certifications, registrations, and renewal deadlines
- Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records and documentation
- Supporting the HR team with various projects and responsibilities as needed
- Managing multiple priorities with strong organization, time management, and follow-through
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Previous experience in HR, benefits administration, licensing/credentialing, or a related administrative role preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Resourcefulness and strong problem-solving abilities
- A professional demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Google Docs and Excel
