Job Opportunity – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Float Pool Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week. Float assignment to multiple units as needed. Weekend and holiday rotation required (minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule). Patient ratio of 5:1.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in medical-surgical and/or telemetry settings
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• BLS certification (required); ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS (preferred)
• Proficiency with IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Skills in blood product administration, central line management, IV insulin protocols, cardiac drip management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and wound care highly valued
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references required: at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference
• Compliance with Ohio fingerprinting requirements upon contract signing
