• Implement individualized speech therapy sessions addressing language, fluency, voice, and swallowing considerations.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and families, to ensure a unified treatment approach.
• Provide education for patients and families to enhance therapeutic progression between sessions.
• Occasionally support inpatient evaluations and interventions to maintain comprehensive care throughout the rehabilitation timeline.
• Document treatment sessions accurately and promptly, adhering to all state, federal, and organizational policies.
• Commit to ongoing professional development to stay at the forefront of speech-language pathology practices.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved institution.
• A completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if you're not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within the first month of employment.
