Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide clinical services directly as a psychologist, both virtually and during school visits, to clients experiencing symptoms of mental illness and severe emotional disorders.

• Establish trusting relationships with students, family members, and educational staff to promote collaborative treatment planning and service delivery.
\n
• Conduct thorough assessments, implementing brief, evidence-based screening methods to identify student needs and recommend appropriate interventions.
\n
• Create individualized care plans that address the unique mental health challenges faced by students, collaborating with parents and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.

• Deliver a variety of treatment modalities, including individual, group, and family therapy, focusing on empowerment and choice in the therapeutic process.

• Assist with crisis intervention efforts for students in distress, utilizing established protocols in emergency situations.
\n
• Monitor and manage a caseload, ensuring regular progress reviews, timely follow-ups, and documentation of treatment outcomes.

• Participate actively in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service delivery and quality improvement.

• Fulfill on-call duties as necessary, extending support beyond traditional working hours when required.

• Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational policies to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily work with children and adolescents in an educational setting who may struggle with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and adjustment disorders. You will support students from diverse backgrounds, addressing their unique cultural and emotional needs within the academic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, and a current LCSW license in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical practice, preferably working with children and adolescents in school or community settings.

• Expert knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and applicable therapeutic techniques.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with clients, families, and professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
