Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about making a difference in the lives of elementary students will find this contract opportunity both rewarding and dynamic. Support students across two elementary campuses near Dearborn, MI, providing essential communication and language services in a collaborative educational environment. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:05 AM to 3:26 PM, with flexibility for both full-time and part-time professionals to best fit your needs.

Work closely with students from grades 1 through 5—approximately 40 students—split between two schools: one focused on grades 1-3 and the other on grades 4-5. The role offers the chance to develop individualized treatment plans while collaborating with teachers and parents to help every student reach their full potential.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Schools-based or pediatric SLP experience strongly preferred
• Able to work effectively with students in grades 1-5
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication needs in elementary-aged students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct therapy across both school sites
• Collect data and maintain accurate records on student progress
• Collaborate regularly with educators, families, and support staff
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team
