Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create tailored treatment plans for each client, focusing on their specific needs and challenges.

• Provide individualized therapy sessions utilizing a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.

• Facilitate group and family therapy sessions, encouraging collaborative efforts among participants to enhance their support networks and personal resilience.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate records of treatment progress and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor will work primarily with adults and adolescents experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and family dynamics. Our goal is to empower clients by providing resources and therapeutic support tailored to their unique circumstances, particularly focusing on those from underserved populations. You will play a vital role in addressing barriers to care and facilitating access to essential mental health services.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required. A Master’s or Doctoral degree is strongly preferred.

• An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, ideally in a clinical or community health setting.
