Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload, delivering therapeutic services and establishing rapport with clients while upholding professional ethics.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, review therapy goals, and schedule follow-up appointments or discharge as appropriate.

• Design, implement, and evaluate person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
\n
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment records, to ensure continuity of care.

• Perform detailed intake assessments to understand the history and needs of clients.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote client growth and stability.

• Engage in individual supervision to enhance clinical practice and professional development.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with youth and will be skilled in addressing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and substance abuse. Our client population comprises primarily of young individuals seeking support and understanding in a safe space where their mental health concerns can be openly discussed and addressed.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• Ability to meet all requirements for internal credentialing in relevant clinical settings.

• Demonstrated ability to establish professional boundaries while engaging clients in therapeutic relationships.

• Strong organizational skills with proficiency in digital documentation and basic computer skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or populations experiencing substance abuse issues.

• Previous experience conducting assessments, diagnoses, and providing individual and group therapy.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote client interactions to enhance service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
