This position is remote; however, it is centered around our community health clinic in Reading, PA. You will engage daily with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals dedicated to delivering evidence-based care in a supportive and collaborative atmosphere. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Lead dynamic and engaging group therapy sessions that foster client connection, support, and learning through shared experiences.

• Individual Counseling: Conduct individualized therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic modalities to help clients explore their thoughts and feelings while creating actionable coping strategies.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop customized, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and future aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize assessment tools to track and evaluate client progress, ensuring effective treatment adjustments are made as necessary.

• Team Collaboration: Regularly coordinate with the multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively regarding client care, including consulting on complex cases for optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of our clinic is on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are facing various mental health challenges. This demographic often experiences issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and peer relationship struggles. Your work will play a pivotal role in not only addressing these challenges but also in empowering them to embrace healthier patterns of thinking and behavior.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.

• Active state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
\n
• At least 1 year of post-graduate experience in mental health counseling, preferably with young adults.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and cultural competency.

• Ability to work effectively both independently in a remote setting and collaboratively within a diverse interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in outpatient settings with a focus on PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) treatment.

• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) or DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy).

• Experience in conducting group therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
