Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing rapport and conducting therapeutic sessions while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular assessments of client progress, stability, and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, ensuring timely discharge when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans in collaboration with clients to meet their mental health objectives.

• Keep detailed, up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client using our electronic health record system.

• Perform initial intake assessments to evaluate the needs and treatment suitability for potential clients.

• Engage in weekly individual therapy sessions to provide focused support for client issues.

• Participate in regular supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and address any challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this position is on youth mental health, supporting adolescents facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and family dynamics. Counselors will work to create a safe and nurturing environment where young clients can express their thoughts and feelings, leading to effective therapeutic outcomes. Counselors are expected to engage clients and their families, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania is mandatory.

• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements within the clinic's framework.

• Minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients or substance abuse populations.

• Proficient in conducting assessments, diagnoses, and providing both individual and group therapy.

• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of one year of relevant experience is necessary, candidates with additional experience in child and adolescent therapy, multicultural competence, or evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT or DBT will be especially considered favorably. Familiarity with telehealth platforms is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
