Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities designed to ensure effective treatment and client progress:

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and developing effective therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and maintaining boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, address any concerns, and prepare for transitions such as discharge as appropriate.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that are client-centered, monitoring their implementation and making adjustments as needed to promote optimal client outcomes.

• Document client interactions meticulously through progress notes and assessments, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.

• Facilitate intake assessments to understand clients’ histories and current challenges, laying the foundation for effective therapeutic interventions.

• Engage in ongoing supervision and collaboration with colleagues to enhance clinical skills and provide holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on youth, providing care to a diverse client base that may include individuals facing psychiatric challenges, emotional distress, and substance use issues. As a clinician at our center, you will work closely with adolescents and their families, offering guidance and support to help them navigate their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in mental health or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements for clinical settings.

• Minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients or substance-abuse populations is preferred.

• Experience in conducting assessments and providing individual and group therapy.
\n
• Proficient computer skills required, including basic keyboarding abilities for documentation purposes.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
